My second pvp video originally uploaded to google video in awful tiny quality.. decided to finally upload it to youtube.. in 3 parts unfortunately as its too long for 2 parts (23mins) hope you enjoy the nostalgia! i know my skills were sub-par.. but hey whats it matter now.

@chilly22 Criting was fine until the double blind nerf and warriors started getting more than 5.2K HP unbuffed. Then rupture kiting became alot stronger. Was risky though, that gave the warrior the opportunity to wail on a target.
@engared hmm im struggling to remember the correct stratagies back then.. but im pretty sure rupture kiting didnt really get popular untill burning crusade… vanilla was all about simply critting the hell out of people with backstabs ambushes eviscerates and stunlocks.
i played pretty solidly through vanilla, burning crusade and wrath.. but i dont remember getting into dot kiting untill bc
could have been me behind with the times.. but im pretty sure the critting method worked fine for me.
I remembered that this strat against warriors was not as effective. Rupture kiting with evasion and crip poison i found was much more effective (from a warrior’s point of view at least lol). Good ole times.

@chilly22 1k backstab was fukin good… considering warriors were lucky to have hp over 4k back then.
@grefvling i moved my rogue to Azjol nerub (pve) untill cataclysm to play with a RL friend.
on alliance side as a human rogue atm :X
its a pain in the ass tbh.. cant wait to get back to my old server.

@POZDRAW yeah but your talking about NOW where as this video and everyone else is talking about 4 years ago.
a time when there was no kingsfall.. very few epics around.. and no lvl 80 enchants to put on your gear.
a 1k~ backstab was about the best you could get.. watch grim’s pvp movie.. he had awesome gear for the time.. and his backstabs crit for like 1500.
players only had like 4k hp back then.. if backstabs had crit for 3k.. it would have been a bit OP dont you think?
No dude you’re wrong. Actually 1k crit is really low. My 60 rogue unbuffed does 3k ambushes on cloth easily, backstabs on cloth goes over 2k. Dagger I am using is Kingsfall.
