Technically it’s possible to win the Booty Bay contest as a Bloodsail, because the contest NPCs aren’t part of the Cartel. Obviously *a lot* harder, since everyone else in Booty Bay still hates you. But with help, it can has been done.
of course, but honestly, if you arent dead set on “the insane” who really bothers farming the rep back? trust me, it takes an eternity, both ways.

You do realize you can keep your Bloodsail rep/title/whatever you want related to them while still being friendly-exalted with Booty Bay, right?
finally a way for bloodsail admirals to get master angler, only to get a pair of boots that sends you right into booty bay
