There is no ‘best’ class or we’d all be playing the same. WoW is an intricate complicated game and your character is what you make of it. I have played all classes, all professions, and all levels up to about 57.
There will be times when your char seems stuck. What I do then {ymmv} is either play a different char, or move the char to another area, either easier or harder, depending on my mood. There are usualy 3-4 areas you can quest in at any given level of your character.
There may be times you need a break from WoW. You may get frustrated because you can’t always find someone who can play when you can. Be prepared to do most of your questing and playing solo. It will make you a stronger player.
Don’t expect everyone else to always have the answers, because what works for me won”t necessarily work for you. I enjoy solo play, but I’m happy to group at times. I like to learn the limits of my char, but I don’t like to push too hard, because dying a lot means I spend too much on repair bills. I am not so big on BGs, but that may change.
Learn the websites for finding answers. I use thottbot, wowwiki and alkhazam frequently or just type into my google browser "WoW quest name" and get multiple sites with various answers. These sites have so much infor that I rarely ask the simple questions on group – I even keep the browser open while playing.
If depression is an issue, then get outside for a bit. Fresh air and sunshine can do wonders for that. Doing something different when you”re frustrated with the game is a wise idea. And if Wow seems too much work for you, then find something you like better. There are plenty of other games out there.
