This is what I managed to put together from the sound files. THIS MIGHT NOT BE ACCURATE! (might be wrong order etc) This seems to be the alliance version, after they take down Saurfang Jr (The Deathbringer). EDIT: This is the event that takes place after players kill The Deathbringer (Saurfang’s now undead son, who was killed by the Lich King at Wrathgate). It’s the Alliance version.

Never thought Variann would say this..
And Jaina cries x3
That’d be pretty cool, too.
sorry I mean babies. damn typos
no, the other way around, if he saves a basket of human babbies and gives them some puppies.
Varian doesn’t hate orcs. He hates Garrosh.
If you say Varian hates all orcs you are acting as if all orcs were like Garrosh, stop being racist.
Same. The only thing that will get me to like Garrosh is if he saves a basket of puppies and gives them to human orphans.
WTF? Muradin defeats Chuck Norris? O_o
finally, it seemed like varian has seen reason
i guess he’s not so bad, then…
but i still wanna see garrosh’s head on a platter
I have to agree with you Kmi, to an extent, I mean for us allies Varian’s like super badass to us so we idol him and what not and him showing that respect for the enemy kinda shows he’s not a total dick.
wow king chin acualy has a soul theres a suprise
The surprise twist in Varian letting Saurfang go to claim his sons body, so he can offer him a heroes burial, that is a twist.
However, all those alliance fanboys whos are now turning round saying ‘omg Varian doesn’t hate orcs!’ and ‘See varian haters he is awesome’, all your doing is jumping at the first opportunity to can grab to try and make yourselves feel better at having a dragon ball Z styled king.
This is called respecting your enemy, and thats all it was.
With the destruction of their only passage home and the successful vanquishing of the orcish strike forces, Grom and the Warsong clan were forced into hiding in the wilds of Lordaeron. They eked out an existence on the edge of human civilization for nearly 15 years. All of this time, Grom was forced to fight the demonic curse that had left him weakened and listless. Where other orcs gave into this malaise, Grom fought it to the end of his days.
My goodness, you call that crying Jaina?
Lothar didnt parley?? wtf u talking about… IT was a real battle but Lothar and his personal guard got separated from his army and then Doomhammer and his men ambushed them…
sigh im tired if all u guys saying that Varian is the man! Garrosh would be like: Get over yourself Saurfang your pussy!
Play horde for real be4 u talk, Varok Saurfang is possibly one of the only orcs that Garrosh actually respects so he would definatly not say something like: Weakblood! to him,
AND even if he did act like that he would most likely not mean what he said then, but just saying it to keep his cool character…
2) Almost all those are either dead or politically impotent. Your run-of-the-mill orc lusts for battle and glory, not words and diplomacy. That’s why Grom’s been gaining in popularity lorewise.
3) Grom damned his people twice over. He fought Cenarius after drinking demon blood. I won’t deny his defeat of Mannoroth, but his dying words were hardly altruistic. (“I have freed myself…”)
People who support Grom and Orgrim forget their participation in Azeroth’s darkest, bloodiest days.
Doomhammer overthrew the Shadow Council, but still kept Gul’dan and co. around, delighted in the screams of Stormwind’s women and children, razed Khaz Modan, ambushed Anduin Lothar when he came to parley (this was retconned into an actual battle). He didn’t give a damn about the fact that he was essentially committing genocide. The worst part is that everything was done without the compulsion of the demon blood.
Doomhammer was a monster, and Thrall insists on deifying him.
and King Varian exemplifies of what a Human should be, in that he has fears, he has a past, he has goals, he has his bigotry, we all do with something afterall, he has his hatered of someone or something, He IS HUMAN, he is not a god, and he admits his own mistakes, in that he acted rashly. Garrosh would NEVER admit this, nor would horde players. from what ive seen of them. they either twist the truth or mock you for ones knowledge of True Lore in this game world.
does Human lives mean anything to horde players? I mean they themselves are human, so why don’t feel they any love or loyalty to it, and would rather help kill it off in a video game, I swear horde players of that sort sicken me, they are like parasites living off of the fruits of Human life. call me insane but unlike those horde players I actaully care about Human life enough to care about it even in a video game.
… Durotan wasnt that great either after he backstabed his Draenei friend wich just happend to saved his and his best-friend lives when he was young.
5) So its impocible to ignore that he defeat a demon and for his own people good but its pocible to ignore that he went crazy killing humans, gnomes, dwarves and elves around in the first and second war and killed one of most powerfull protectors of the world in the third one
3)So… the fact that the orcs screwd up their own world so much that they had only 3 places in it to live (Terokar forest, Zangarmash, Nagrand) and the razed kingdom of Azeroth justifie that they continue screwing up the Aliance
4) The orcs arent the mayority of the Argent Dawn/Crusade those are the humans. Of those orcs you mention 3 of them are just half orcs, I can hardly call Rehgar a decent orc after using another orc, 2 elves and a human as gladiatoral slaves for his own profit…
1) I think its more reasonable to think that Ogrim to be the real Horde Warchief he needed to put away the old ledership the shadow concil the fact that they had to die was necesary loss as and it is proved by the fact that he alowed Gul´dan to live empowering the first generation of Death Knights.
2) Sure none of them aproach the right way. But I alredy said that isnt the problem, its the Horde the ones who are stil harvesting on the NE sacred woods after a suposed truce
@Link544
2) Draka, Greatmother Geyah, Mother Kashur, Jorin Deadeye, Lantresor of the Blade (half-draenei), Durotan, Garona (half-draenei), Rexxar (half-ogre), every single orc member of the Argent Dawn/Crusade, Gorgonna, Saurfang Jr, Rehgar Earthfury, etc.
3) Grom’s mistakes and wrongdoings were severe, but the fact that he never once gave up on doing what was asked of him, no matter how insurmountable the odds looked (fighting Cenarius and Mannoroth) is impossible to ignore.
@Link544
1&3) The 2 books I mentioned contain any and all explanations you might need regarding the Horde’s actions before the First War and during the Second one.
Doomhammer wanted to find a new world for the Horde to live in as Draenor wasn’t the lush land it was before. True, it was due to the orcs’ own doing that it came to pass. But Doomhammer isn’t the bloodthirsty monster everyone seems so intent on making him look like.
@Link544
First of all, stop using the word genocide like a comma.
Orgrim killed the Shadow Council, the warlocks and Blackhand. Instead of victory and “genocide” at all costs, Doomhammer sent the Black Tooth Grin clan to deal with the Stormreaver and Twilight’s Hammer clans.
3) In all fairness, the Night Elves followed the “shoot now, ask questions later” approach when the Warsong clan started cutting lumber in Ashenvale.
