World of Warcraft Professions skills

I am trying to figure out how to skill up my professions. The last time I went
to a trainer, I got new recipes for both first aid and tailoring, but no new
skill opportunity. My skills are maxed at 150 for first aid and 75 for tailoring
(on an alt). The recipes are yellow or orange, but I gain no additional skill
when I use them, so I feel like I’m wasting mats. I’ve tried a couple different
trainers for the first aid, but for the tailoring I’ve only been to the trainer
in Stormwind. Do I need to go somewhere else? I can’t find any information
online on any WoW websites. I’m having no problems getting my skinning or
herbalism skills up. (They’re at 208 and 257.)
Also, does anyone make good money from selling materials from disenchants? I’m
thinking of dropping skinning for enchanting on my mage.
Finally, I need about 7500 more points to get my human mage exalted with
Darnassus so I can get her a tiger mount. Where can I grind for rep after
Ashenvale? I have a feeling the last few thousand points are going to be tough.

I’m pretty sure you would have to purchase a book for first aid or get it from AH. Here is a website that will give you the loaction for the book. http://www.wowhead.com It’s like one of the number one sites to have handy. Good luck!
I also have a mage, and yes, they make great money dis/ench. Get your skill up and you will be happy you chose it.

Just read about RunPolls in a blog. Anyone here gave it a try?
