Ive been clearing this raid as Ret, but I cannot kill Ayamiss the Hunter, and this guy. This guy hits like a truck as ret, to big to try and heal through.
looks like 200% damage buff to me in the vid
as a ret paladin I couldnt find a way to beat the mobs in that room they hit really hard like 10k or something stupid with the meteor, how’d you get past em?

i think most pallies can do him with the buff, I manage to just tank him in one spot with the 300% dmg boost and I do fine, no need to bubble or lay on hands. just keep sacred and holy shields up, I block 2500 dmg btw.
I managed to do this fight with mostly crafted epics and a few odd pieces of gear from Naxx 10 annd 25 man. It’s not so much about gear as it is about keeping alert for crystal spawns. After he’s safely got the de-buff you have time to heal up.
Jesus, I remember all of this stuff as a level 60 holy priest, a long time ago :] I had my little turban hat from that mana-burn boss and we’d never do the wasp boss because he was too hard, now to think you just solo these guys
I haven’t played in over a year and a bit but that’s pretty crazy.
He gets a 200, or 300, not sure percent damage increase when he’s not under the effects of a crystal. Apparently it’s not needed to use them, but it helps.
what do the crystals do?

He’s the final boss in a pre TBC 20 man raid instance.

I wish i had your gear then. I mark myself as being decently geared (At the intro to 25 man naxx) and I simply cannot do him with the 300% dmg buff. Its highly gear dependant.

I actually never tried doing Ossirian with the debuff up, I’ll give it a go today, should be np actually.
lol I solo him without using the stones, with the debuff up during the whole fight ^^, so this is clearly not extraordinary, it’s even weak considering the amount of time you spent cleaning the whole damn room…because when I farm AQ20 every 3days when I enter that room, I’m already gone while you are still pulling the trash…

I just did this in pre-kara epic gear, reputation, heroic drops and blacksmith. I did have the 10-man chest though. So its very much possible with pre-kara gear even.
I love how we can solo anything now.

I just wish a prot warrior had the survivability a pally has. Either he would need to be untouchable or just need a renew here n there from an afk priest, haha. Happy New Years!
